Dealing with Computer Viruses and Other Malware

When working on a Windows computer, it’s really important to develop a siege mentality. That means having the best protection against Computer Viruses, malware and hacking attempts. While some people are fond of virus protection suites, I personally don’t care for them. One of those was resident on a friend’s computer and it actually disabled surfing on the Internet because it was deemed too dangerous. It took a call to technical support to solve the problem. After that, I uninstalled her suite and went with a much simpler solution, designed to only deal with computer viruses. I also installed other programs for dealing with Spyware and she was all set.
