Can You Get Free Ringtones For All Cell Phones?

Someone told me that it is possible to get free ringtones for all cell phones and I am not sure that is true. I know that some types of cell phones allow you to download free content, but then some cell phone service providers also prohibit using free content on their phones, and no two companies are the same in terms of their policies! It is very confusing. The best bet is to call your provider and verify the terms on downloads for your cell phone before you actually do download anything, and that way you are within the bounds of the law and your provider’s rules.
