Wilderness Activity Holidays

Wilderness activity holidays involve you spending time in various wilderness areas, such as deserts, jungles, plateaux, tundra and mountains.

All seven continents can be visited, with the Sahara, Namib and Gobi deserts, the jungles of South and Central America, Northern India and Central Africa, the great mountain ranges of The Andes, Alps, Atlas, Himalaya and Rockies, the Tibetan plateau, the Antarctic and the Outback of Australia, being popular with adventerous travellers.

Such trips are generally made up of trekking, camping, survival skills courses, and lessons on the people, cultures and wildlife you’ll come across.
