It Help People Like My Son
My son lost his life to cancer when he was only six years old. Even now, ten years later, it is hard to talk about it. I spent a lot of time giving him medications, working with IVs, and just comforting him. One time, he told me that I would make an excellent nurse. When he passed away, I couldn’t stop thinking about that comment. I had learned a lot about medicine during his illness, and I needed something to fill the void left by his absence. So I decided to get an LPN Degree. Now, I work in a cancer center, helping children like my son.
