With the audio book technology, one can now acquire knowledge without learning to read and write. Thanks to audio book technology, one can now also listen to fun and entertainment books, like novels, etc without necessarily having the reading/writing knowledge.

More people now prefer to buy audio books instead of physical hardcover books because of the extreme comfort they derive from listening. It is now very difficult to find popular book titles that do not have both the physical book format and the audio book format.
