This is definitely one of the most romantic dances, also known as the Dominican Republic blues. This is not for nothing….The dance itself is not one of the complicated ones, at least if you compare for example with salsa. The basic step can be learnt fairly fast. After that, of course you will make progress based on practice, natural easiness to dance, etc. However, you can’t be a good bahata dancer if you don’t feel the music.
