Best kind of diamond

I’d like to go and buy the best diamond possible for the engagement ring for my girlfriend.  I saw a lot of great things on TV like the Leo Diamond, the Zales Diamond, Hearts on Fire diamonds, the Gordon’s diamond, and the Helzberg Diamond Masterpiece.  The I think the Masterpiece is the best of all of them since it’s certified by GIA and the others are certified by lower quality labs.  Also, the Helzberg Diamond Masterpiece has an Excellent Diamond Cut graded by the GIA, whereas the others are regular cut qualities, just with unique extra facets that they claim make the stone extra bright.
