Homemade Solar Panels – Difference Between Direct and Diffuse Sunlight
This are a few of the terms that you will encounter when you are trying to build your first set of homemade solar panels. The difference is that direct sunlight is the type of energy that hits the solar panel directly. There is no obstacle between the sun and the solar panel. Diffuse sunlight is the type of light that is reflected, for example when the sun shines on the water and the light is reflected. The diffuse sun light carries less energy than direct sun light but it can still be used by solar panels. This is one of the reasons why the solar panels should be placed in an angle, so that it can capture some diffuse sunlight as well.
