Learning About Acai Berry

I would like to learn more about the acai berry. I keep hearing that it is such a great health food, but I’d like to know why. Some peope seem to think it’s great for weight loss, but I don’t know how eating a berry would help anybody lose weight. Others seem to think that the acai berry has antioxidant properties and will help develop a strong immune system. That might be a good reason to consider adding acai to my diet, if it is true. I have also heard that some people use the berry to increase their energy levels, supposedly because of the high carbohydrate levels of the berry. If all of these are actually true, then acai must truly be one super food.
