Assess Your Patient Quickly With Pulse Oximeters

I have worked in the same urgent care center for several years, and we never know what kind of situation we will see during a given shift. Usually we see minor illnesses and injuries, but occasionally we will have someone who comes to us and it critically ill. I am glad that we started using Pulse Oximeters to check on the patients breathing and respiratory function, because it tells us if we need to start them on oxygen or not. My job is to ask them questions, and then start the initial treatment based on how they present to us. We are prepared to give great care!
