My family lives in Australia, but I moved to the United States when I was eighteen. There’s a great college here for what I wanted to study and I haven’t moved back to the United States since then. However, I wasn’t allowed to work throughout college, so I still had to get money from my parents back home. They checked with financial agents in Australia, trying to find out how to get the best exchange rates while sending me money every month. A foreign exchange specialist set up a monthly plan for them to send me money with no fees.
