My Friend Won a Kitchen Remodel
When my best friend and her husband entered the cooking contest at the local county fair, they never dreamed that they would win anything. They had entered the contest many times over the years and had won a few glass awards for their efforts but had never won the grand prize. This year, however, they actually won the grand prize of a complete kitchen remodel that had been donated by a local contractor. They would get all new counters, cabinets and appliances. They were truly ecstatic about the win and were looking forward to getting their kitchen redone. Their house was pretty old and had ancient appliances that used too much electricity.
