Be Prepared

I am a real estate agent, and I attend many social and business functions throughout the year. Naturally, I make a lot of contacts at these events, and I need to be able to be prepared to represent myself well. Several years ago, when I was younger and still new at the market, I went to a business luncheon. I met someone who wanted to list a house, and I didn’t have any real estate business cards to offer him. I wrote my name and number on a piece of paper. He never did call, and no wonder! Now I am prepared at all times to give out a professional card.
